Caitlin is a psychotherapist specializing in experiential dynamic psychotherapy

Hi I’m Caitlin

I am passionate about helping people get in touch with their deepest desires even when it seems impossible, and I consider myself very lucky to be able to do this work. I know first hand that choosing someone to trust with your heart can feel both exciting and intimidating. I think its important to know that I have navigated my own emotional discomfort and self-development through therapy, so I am always honored to be part of someone’s healing journey.

I have spent the last 11 years working in the non-profit sector specifically developing programs for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, as well as providing treatment.

As a therapist I bring a sense of balance to our work by building an authentic relationship with you, while also remaining clear in my approach to therapy.

I am a psychodynamically oriented therapist with specialized training in experiential dynamic therapy through the Washington School of Psychiatry. Please review the ‘about’ page for a breakdown of what that means. My practice is informed by my training as a yoga therapist. This adds a holistic element of treating the whole person, taking into consideration the mind, body, and soul.

You will find that I am compassionate and warm, but direct and challenging in service of your goals. I believe I should be helping you make the absolute most out of our time together as well as your resources.

Outside of the therapy room I’m usually outdoors or on my yoga mat. I also work hard to practice what I preach and let myself relax in a world that tells us we should always be up to something.
